Stop Asian Hate
Hate and violence, no matter the source and the target, have no place in our society. DotAsia stands united with the Asian community to rejects racism, xenophobia, violence and to #StopAsianHate2020.aprigf.asia
The formation of DotAsia is truly a bottom-up community-based initiative that was not created or mandated by any government or particular existing organisation or constituency. Rather it was a grassroots initiative that gradually gained the support from a broad and diverse range of well-established organisations in the region.

Last December, a Dallas-based company, @themahjongline which released several collections of redesigned mahjong tiles is apologizing after social media users accused the company of cultural appropriation.
Do you think this is cultural misrepresentation or just a way to attract the millenials?

Greetings from the DotAsia Board
DotAsia has just completed its Board elections and I would like to thank everyone who participated in the process. Although results are still to be released at the time of this writing, I am looking forward to a new group of individuals joining the team who will bring refreshing and rejuvenating inputs into the efforts we have been putting into our governance activities over the past years - to promote and mobilise the .asia domain.
Although we have made a slow start on our grants programme, we wish to revitalise that too, as part of the collaborative relationship we are continuing to build with our members and their active support for DotAsia. The interests of our DotAsia community are high on the agenda of our Community Projects Committee.
This month will end with the Annual General Meeting and because it will be online, I hope that more of our members will join in and participate in our once a year meeting with our member community. It will also be a chance for you to find out what we have achieved over the past year and what future goals we have for DotAsia, as well as to meet the new Board for 2021. We look forward to seeing you there (AGM Portal).
